Asiagroup Finance Corp. held its second Christmas Party last December 17, 2019, Tuesday, at the Laguna Ballroom of the well-known Bellevue Hotel Alabang. Everyone came to the party wearing their best tuxedo and long gowns, unaware that our special guest, Mr. Jose Alfonso G. Aquino, Relationship Manager at Unionbank Ayala Alabang, would be choosing a winner for best attire and gown later that night. The host for that night, Ms. Coffee hosted, and her partner in business and in real life, Troy, was in-charged of the live music. The event started off early, with Ms. Sharon M. Reyes, President and Chairman of the Board, giving an inspirational opening speech.
After hearing the motivational message, everyone did not hold back from the dinner buffet that was served. The appetizers were already mouthwatering, which included sushi and sashimi, Waldorf Salad, cucumber with dill and yoghurt, and iceberg lettuce with choice of dressing. We enjoyed just as much the Cream of Carrot soup served with soft rolls and butter. The main entrees were undeniably delectable, from roasted stuffed chicken, sauteed sausage with tomato, olives and white beans, baked seafood in puff pastry, farfalle in mushroom cream, down to the plentiful servings of steamed rice. How could we skip desserts when we were served with Brazo de Mercedes, ube roll, Orange Charlotte, and sliced fresh fruits.
The night was undeniably full of fun and exciting games where thousands of pesos were given away by the company’s generous investors and summed up to P150,000, inclusive of cash prizes for Best Dress, won by Ms. Hannah B. Seno of Accounting Department, Best Attire taken by a landslide by Sir Andrei A. Estrella of NCR Sales Team, and Best Group Presentation received by the high-spirited Office-based Team.
As the celebration was coming to an end, Ms. Beng H. Murillo, Digital Marketing Specialist, delivered a heartfelt wine toasting speech.
Without a doubt, the event was a success. Everyone was blessed with cash prizes other than receiving their grocery money. Everyone got to indulge in the array of sumptuous spread at the buffet. Everyone celebrated 2019 and was excited to welcome another prosperous year.
